I still need to watch past the first 30 episodes, but yeah, I love what I've seen. I sort of think of it as A Song of Ice and Fire in space, but seeing as how this anime and the original novels predate it, I suppose it'd be more appropriate to describe ASOIAF as LOTGH in a medieval fantasy setting with dragons and ice zombies thrown in just because they're cool.

Anyways, I like how there are both great and scum-bag characters on each opposing side, but so far I'm more in favor of the Free Planets Alliance.
