Looks like the movie is still on track, even after Disney's purchase of Fox.

Cris Mertens revealed that he's an assistant editor on the film.

About flippin' time.

Surprised they're still putting this out in theaters and not just dumping it on Hulu or Disney+, but I like seeing movies in theaters so I'm glad. Bob's is such a low-stakes show most of the time that I'm definitely curious what kinda story they came up with to make a whole movie around.

There's speculation that a lot of Fox's pre-buyout schedule has iron-clad requirements to be released exclusively in theaters,  and this is probably part of that.

Still, I think this would have been a good opportunity to put the show on Disney+, if the movie joined it. But I guess they don't really see a reason to add it, if it does so well on Hulu.

Thought they would've written him out since it's been a while, and it's not like Pesto recast auditions should've taken that long to do.

I'm surprised that Pesto wasn't written off, considering how much the kids have been stealing the show lately & his absence in the movie with no speaking lines due to Jay Jonhston's arrest. I mean, if they had no problem removing lines for that, why not just write him off? Also, it feels like Eric Bauza is in literally everything now.
