I had to skip the KOR since I couldn't find a good link to watch it (if I can avoid kissanime, then I will). I'll try to get to the series at some point, though.

What site(s) would you prefer to use for legally unavailable subbed anime?

Whatever works for you, really. But I couldn't find this one anywhere.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

KissAnime works best for me, but you're having problems with it, and I only want to link to sites we're all comfortable with.

Avaitor

Really, I don't mind. I can always find something else, myself.

All right. Though everyone should feel free to suggest alternative sites they prefer using if you're also having trouble with KA. I'll keep an eye out for an alternative I like better myself in the meantime.

Not even gonna bother voting on this one. Pass.

DAMMIT!! I want to vote because Pierrot Le Fou but I do not want to see any late series spoilers from other shows. I'll probably pass

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. :(

Well, part of me is glad that people aren't spoiling one of the best plot turns in manga and anime for themselves, but another part of me is skeptical that anyone here who hasn't already experienced it will ever read or watch that series to begin with.

Anyways, I'm hesitant to vote as well, since I don't want to spoil TROV for myself, but it looks like me, Avaitor, CX, and possibly Pharass are the only people left who are willing to vote, so I'll probably just bite anyways and watch the episode out of context later on this week in order to formulate my ranking. I really do want to watch TROV in full, though. The same goes for Gundam, but since I've already had chunks of the original series spoiled for me a few years ago by a friend who is a huge fan of the franchise, I'm not as opposed to having that episode spoiled.

Avaitor

Yeah, that's a pretty big MSG episode. I don't want TROV spoiled for me, either, but tbh, I feel like by the time I get to it, I'll probably have forgotten the lion's share of this, so I don't mind watching the episode anyway.

I'll watch that after I rewatch this Gundam. I will say that the direction for the AnJ anime was tight as all hell, at least for this episode. If the original series is supposed to be the weaker of the two, then I really need to get to 2 ASAP.

The first anime is directed by the legendary Osamu Dezaki and is rightfully considered to be a true classic. It's a great adaptation of an already great manga. That said, AnJ2 is a tad underrated even by fans, simply because it doesn't have Dezaki's name attached to it, which is why you tend to see the first anime get more recognition. Of course, both anime are generally considered to be excellent, however I find that the second anime actually manages the impossible task of outright improving on its source material, rather than just matching it, and considering that this is my my favorite manga/comic book of all time, believe me when I say that it's no small feat to pull that off.

That said, as for this episode, it's on par with any of the best episodes from either this anime or AnJ2, which is why I nominated it.

Actually, Dezaki also directed AnJ2.  :P

Well then apparently I've been reading the wrong production credits. Goddamn you and your unreliable sources, Internet....:thinkin:
