EVERYONE WITH A PSP/VITA/PS3 GET THIS WHEN IT COMES OUT

This is probably the single most overlooked game in the 32-bit generation.
I love this game. Wish there was more side quests though or maybe I just didn't find them all.

G4's making a top 100 video games of all time special that'll air in June.

If Morgan Webb's working on it, you can tell that there'll be a lack of what can be considered to be "kiddy" games. And I'm expecting Half-Life 2 to be number 1, then.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Half-Life 2? More like Uncharted 2 or Gears of War 2.

It's the first "edgy classic" I can think of, but since HL2 is actually a good game, yeah, I'm probably off my rocker here.

Nah my sons, we all know the number 1 game on this list will be Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. I'm not even trying to be ironic here.

I don't even see why it's considered as such. In all honesty, it should probably be rated T, along with Halo.

Sadly...

That was actually the first game that came to mind. Definite top 5.

Modern Warfare
Uncharted 2
Halo 3
God Of War 2 (to pretend to appreciate "classics")
Killzone 2
Gears Of War 2
Battlefield 3
Modern Warfare 2
Battlefield Bad Company 2
Medal Of Honor

You can bet all those will stuff the top of the list.

This is why I'm so thankful that DirecTV no longer carries G4.

...yet I still know in the back of my mind that I will find a way to watch it, and groan and sigh and shake my head sadly throughout the entire thing. That's just the way it has to be.

It's a Top 100, so you might as well just throw all of the preceding titles to those respective series into the mix as well. I expect every Halo and every Call of Duty (especially God's gift to gaming media, Black Ops) to show up, at the very least.

I mean, we can't possibly be filling that space with Mario or Pokemon or Sonic or Donkey Kong. Kiddy garbage, the lot of it.

Spark Of Spirit

I expect Super Mario 64 at #100 and Ocarina at #97 and that's it for Nintendo franchises. (You can bet your bottom dollar that will be the only Mario game especially)

Realistically any top 100 videogame list would be stuffed with NES, SNES, and Genesis titles, but you can bet there will most likely be none save stuff that had a port like Chrono Trigger (#98) or Sonic 2 (#99).

Why? Because Gametrailers hates the classics. It's like a movie reviewer that won't watch Casablanca because it's black and white.

Sad thing is; had this been aired 7 years ago, the list would have actually been at least somewhat respectable.

Gametrailers? I thought this was G4's top 100 list. :-\

One owns the other. I'm not sure which.

They both hate Nintendo, either way.

There seems to be a lot of anti-Nintendo sentiment in gaming press anymore, though (obviously not the case for everyone, hence Galaxy and other such games still getting many good reviews from sensible media outlets, but you know what I mean; take the general reaction to the 3DS, and how iPhone gaming is apparently curbstomping it, for example). Half of it boils down to the "I want them to fail just so I can say I was right" crowd, and the other half are just blinded fanboys that won't let anyone enjoy the things they don't like.

Too many Takao's, and not enough sense of reason.
