Favorite Games Ever (Besides Ninja Gaiden, Obviously)

Actually, looking back at the GAF lists, since they took the trouble of making separate lists for action and action-adventure, I do have to question why JSRF and JGR are on the former rather than the latter. Hack n' slash and beat 'em up games make enough sense, but the Jet Grind games have very little physical action and are more like platformers with action aspects in them. At the very least, they seem more appropriate for the action-adventure category than just for pure action.

It's also weird that they put F.E.A.R. on the horror list rather than the FPS list...

Personally, I believe that it should qualify for both. It is still a horror themed game.

I agree, but it's a much better FPS than it is a horror game IMO.

I'll make a list later but I have to say that no list of action games from Gen 6 should ever lack Max Payne 2. That game doesn't get enough love. I know MP1 is better but it's still one of the top 5 greatest TPSes of all time.

Max Payne 2 was ranked as the best shooter of the generation on the GAF list. They simply put it in a different category than the non-shooter action games.
