Same as Avaitor.

Gauron was easily the best thing about the first season of FMP.

Dr. Insomniac

String
Gauron
Piccolo
Thing
Fassad

Pharass

Ok, since there doesn't seem to be any more votes coming in, let's proceed to the next match, shall we? Here are the results:

Stringer= 14 pts
Fassad= 7 pts
Gauron= 16 pts
The Thing= 11 pts
Piccolo= 12 pts

Stringer and Gauron move on to Round 2.

Round 1, Match 23:

Makoto Shishio (Rurouni Kenshin)

Vs.

Angelus (Buffy the Vampire Slayer)

Vs.

Rob Lucci (One Piece)

Vs.

Sakyo (Yu Yu Hakusho)

Vs.

Friend (20th Century Boys)

-----------------

1. Friend: A true evil mastermind if ever there was one. He takes innocent childhood games and fantasies and turn them into reality, horrifying reality. One of the most twisted villains I've seen in a manga.
2. Makoto Shishio
3. Sakyo: I can't help but think of him as the Lex Luthor (or maybe David Xanatos?) of YYH. Considering that he's the only major villain who relies on his vast fortune and massive intellect instead of special powers (well, ok, he's got Toguro on his side too), the comparison seem quite apt. At least to me.
4. Rob Lucci
5. Angelus: I've heard of him and he certainly looks intimidating, but I still haven't seen an episode of Buffy.

Avaitor

Angelus is Angel during season 2 of Buffy. Honestly, he was the most threatening villain of the entire Whedonverse.

1- Angelus
2- Friend
3- Sakyo
4- Shishio
5- Lucci
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Dr. Ensatsu-ken

Same as Pharass. This was a damn good round. I feel kind of bad ranking Lucci so low, but the competition was once again really tight this round. As for Angelus, I'm sure I'd rank him near the top of my list if I actually ever watched Buffy, but I still need to get around to that, myself.

Avaitor

You all are bad for ranking Angel last.

All I'll say.

Hey, you're all bad for downvoting all the Masters instead of going to find out why he's so awesome.

Avaitor

Dude, I swear, when I hook my Wii back up, I'll start watching Dr. Who.

Hey, you're all bad for downvoting all the Masters instead of going to find out why he's so awesome.

You know, we still have the best version of The Master left.

Anyway, here are the results:

Makoto Shishio= 13 pts
Angelus= 11 pts
Rob Lucci= 9 pts
Sakyo= 11 pts
Friend= 19 pts

Makoto Shishio and Friend move on to Round 2.

Round 1, Match 24:

Reagan MacNeil

Vs.

Majora's Mask

Vs.

Slade Wilson

Vs.

Shinobu Sensui (Yu Yu Hakusho)

Vs.

Knives (Trigun)

Note: I haven't seen The Exorcist, but I do know that Reagan is under demonic possession. So, I'm going to include the demon along with her in this match. If anyone sees any reason for why this should not be, let him speak now or forever hold his peace, at least on this matter.

--------------

1. Shinobu Sensui: A great villain, both as a fallen hero in the vein of Milton's Satan and as an evil counterpart to Yusuke. I haven't finished season 3 yet, but this guy is definitely my favorite in this match.
2. Knives: Seriously, who names a kid Millions Knives? That's just begging for him to grow up and become a genocidal supervillain.
3. Slade Wilson
4. Majora's Mask
5. Reagan: I'm almost ashamed for ranking her so low, since she's from one of the most famous horror-movies ever made. However, since I haven't seen the movie (nor read the book, for that matter), I'm afraid that Reagan is stuck at the bottom. At least for now.

Dr. Ensatsu-ken

1. Shinobu Sensui (Wow, I was ready to write-up a ton of reasons for why Sensui is such a great villain, but Pharass already put it so well in many less words than I ever could :D ; with the exception of Johan and probably some villains from prestigious classics that I still have yet to see **cough**legendofthegalacticheroes**cough**, Sensui is hands down the best villain in anime out of the ones that I have seen, shonen or otherwise)
2. Knives (Who names a kid Knives? Some pretty awesome parent, that's who. :sly: )
3. Reagan (Sure, she can be an iconic villain, but I feel that her popularity has more to do with the mass shock value that she caused at the time rather than truly clever writing and a truly creepy performance, to be honest)
4. Majora's Mask (I felt more sorry for Skull Kid than threatened by him, and the mask itself has absolutely no personality, so I can't really rank it that high as an interesting villain)
5. Slade (I haven't read any of the Teen Titans comics, and as for the animated series I'm not really a fan, to be honest)

Speaking of "LOtGH", I should have nominated Adrian Rubinsky. Best villain (among the relatively few characters that could safely be labeled as such) in that series, by far.

Avaitor

1- Sensui
2- Majora
3- Regan
4- Knives
5- Slade

Good match. TBH, the only comic with Slade/Deathstroke in it that I've read is Identity Crisis, which I wasn't big on, and I'm not fan of Titans.

The results:

Majora's Mask= 10 pts
Slade Wilson= 6 pts
Shinobu Sensui= 20 pts

Shinobu and Knives move on to Round 2.

Round 1, Match 25:

Thunderleg (Drunken Master)

Vs.

Frank (Once Upon a Time in the West)

Vs.

Judge Holden (Blood Meridian)

Vs.

Daleks (Doctor Who)

Vs.

Captain Vidal (Pan's Labyrinth)

--------------

1. Judge Holden: I'm hard pressed to come up with a better example of ultimate evil in fiction. Everyone in Blood Meridian is pretty bad, but The Judge towers over them all like some sort of God from ancient mythology treating mortals like mere playthings. He never sleeps, The Judge. He's dancing, dancing, he says he'll never die.
2. Frank: "People scare easier, when they're dying."
3. Captain Vidal: One of the best villains of the past decade. The Pale Man was pretty unsettling as well, but Vidal was the most evil monster in that movie.
4. The Daleks: Exterminate! Exterminate!
5. Thunderlegs: Nice moustache, too bad I haven't seen Drunken Master
