Count Dracula= 11 pts
Harry Lime= 6 pts

Xanatos and Count Dracula move on to Round 2.

And now, are you ready for the final match of Round 1? Here it is:

Round 1, Final Match

The Master (Roger Delgado)

Vs.

Al Swearengen (Deadwood)

Vs.

Philip Vandamm (North by Northwest

Vs.

Littlefinger (A Song of Ice and Fire)

Vs.

Thailog (Gargoyles)

Considering that I love all of these villains, this match is propably the toughest for me, so far. Ah, well, here goes nothing:

1. Al Swearengen
2. The Master: The first and best version of the character.
3. Littlefinger: In a series filled with manipulative bastards, Littlefinger stands out as the most magnificent of them all.
4. Philip Vandamm
5. Thailog

I'm going ot have to reverse your list, Pharass.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

New blog!

I confess that I don't see how you can prefer Thailog over Swearengen. Oh, well, to each their own.

By the way, it would be nice to get some more votes. Hint, hint.

1. Philip Vandamm
2. Thailog
3. Al Sweargen (In my case its because I have never seen Deadwood, but I still ranked him in the middle over hear so that Pharass and Dr. Insomniac wouldn't try to kill me....)

But you'd love it.  :(

You'd also really like the Dr. Who stories with Delgado in them.

Pharass

Well, I think it's time we started the second round. This time there will be four contestants in each match and, as before, two of them will move on to the next Round. Are you ready? Here we go:

I really don't want to seem like a weaboo, but this is one of those rounds where I only somehow happen to be more familiar with the anime characters in it. My apologies for that. :frown:

I'll be sure to add Deadwood to the list of shows that I need to watch over the Summer. And I already have Dr. Who near the top of my list, so I'll probably end up getting to that first. ;)

Pharass

Guys, I hate to be such a nag, but if you want this tournament to continue I'm going to need more votes.

Ensatsu-ken: Here's one of my favorite moments in Deadwood. Al Swearengen has no time for people who wallow in self-pity

That would be me, Pharass. I changed my name to "Absolutely No One" as an April Fools Day gag.

Pharass

I see. I haven't been able to access the forums for a few days, so I wasn't aware of that.
Anyway, here are the results:

Olrik= 9 pts
Legato Bluesummers= 13 pts
Eneru= 11 pts
Iago= 7 pts

Legato and Eneru move on to Round 3.

Round 2, Match 2:

Gauron (Full Metal Panic!)

Vs.

Al Swearengen (Deadwood)

Vs.

Hans Landa (Inglorious Basterds)

Vs.

Yukishiro Enishi (Rurouni Kenshin)

-------------

1. Al Swearengen
2. Hans Landa: I watched "Inglorious Basterds" recently and this guy was definitely the most memorable character in the movie.
