That's how you can describe every other Kanye album.

The guy's a hack with little good to his name. Always has been, always will be.

Eh. I love the hell outta The College Dropout.

Actually, it's the only rap album I've ever paid for.

Huh? As a producer, he has The Blueprint and his work with Common, Talib Kweli, and Dead Prez to his name.  That's a damn good body of work.  As for his rap career - College Dropout is one of the greatest rap albums of all time, Late Registration was extremely solid, 808's & Heartbreaks was an intriguing and challenging side project, and even Graduation had some decent tracks.  Feel free to dislike the guy but he's hardly a "hack with little good to this name".

Maybe I was a little harsh, and he is responsible for some decent stuff, but I don't think his own work is anything special.

I've given Kanye plenty a chance, but his work always falls short for me.
