I'm liking this trend of 90's cartoon revivals.  Getting a new Rocko special after all these years will be a real treat.

Even if its just the one special and that's it, I'll still be satisfied. There's plenty of new material they can touch on for this.

Here's an interview with what to expect.

Of all the specials that could have been announced, I'm really excited. Even after Camp Lazlo, I still trust Joe, and I know he wouldn't do this and half-ass it, or do it without good reason.

What really has me sold on this special is the concept. Rocko trying to integrate with a more technologically advanced, modern-day O-town after being gone for 20 years has a lot of potential for incisive satire. I've always liked Murray's work, even Lazlo, so I'm pretty confident in this.

That's just how I'd expect and want Rocko to look if the show stuck around to be digitally colored.

That was dead on. I was worried it would lose a lot of its expressiveness, but it was thankfully dead on.

Can't wait to see it.
