Finally got caught up. This season has been totally awesome, last three episodes especially. Woodhouse's new voice was a bit weird, but it didn't bother me much, and it does still sound like George Coe for what it's worth.

Yeah, I think these most recent episodes just prove that the show is at its best when Cyril isn't on the field. Archer and Lana are as great as ever together, and Pam seems like a worthy addition to them.

Just bring Ray back in while leaving Cyril to deal with the rest of Isis, and we're bound to get some more gold.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Cyril was great in The Honeymooners, but yeah, I agree that he isn't as funny as Archer/Lana/Ray/Pam when it comes to field work. Pam is just hilarious though, so I really hope she replaces Cyril as the fourth field agent from now on.

I think they're going to make everyone a field agent at this point. Cheryl is probably next, and if Krieger doesn't turn out to be the show's Big Bad, he'll soon follow.

I can maybe see Cheryl, but not Krieger. I think it might be a shark jumping moment if they make him a field agent.

Avaitor

I dunno, as a one-off mission where he tries to save his virtual wife, that might work. Maybe even more if he fits in well enough. I wouldn't have expected Ray to gel so well into the field as well as he did before we saw him.

I thought Cyril was funny in El Contador, I love his "SUPRESSING FIIIIRE!" gag, but yeah his worth as a field agent was already milked back in the first season. He's not with Lana anymore, and they're definitely not getting back together so there's not as much of a need for him. He's better when he's playing off of Mallory, Krieger or Cheryl. Speaking of Krieger, as much I like him I'd love to see how'd he be as a villain.

And I have to agree that Pam has been hilarious this season. I can't wait to see what she does on the field in the rest of the episodes. I'm also glad we've gotten back to Archer and Lana together on missions. As much as I've enjoyed this season, things would have gotten old real quick if they kept doing episodes where they're all in just one location like the episode with the chef.

So who's ready for the return of Captain Murphy tonight?

:happytime: I'll try not to miss it this time.

So now that Archer has crossed over with Bob's Burgers and Sealab, I assume it's only a matter of time before Killface and Brendon Small show up.

How's this going to work?  ??? Are using old recorded tapes of him?

He's going to be played by Mad Men's Jon Hamm.

Somehow, I can see the next step in Don Draper's life being him hitching a submarine and making his own seatopia. I wouldn't be surprised if most of SCDP joined him there as well

Except Megan. Somehow I just don't see them lasting. :(

Great episode! Totally hilarious. Getting kind of tired of the wild goose chase storylines, though.

Nel_Annette

Eugene Mirman and Kirstan Schaal? I see what you did there, Archer.

Avaitor

Yep, now all they need to do is find a way to put Dan Mintz in there, and we're gold.

FINALLY saw it, and yeah, this ep is ace.
