There's so many Led Zeppelin t shirts out there, why is there none with the Zeppelin III font?  I want this shirt dammit.

I remember one of my favorite passages in It's Kind of a Funny Story was when the main character was getting high for the first time at his friend's party, and tripped over at his friend's dad's LP copy of Zeppelin III.

Not really related, but that's the first thing which came to mind.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

If this rumor be true, then hard my dick shall be. Want. WANT! Pink Floyd was my first "favorite band of all time".

In a mood to try a top 10 artists list, besides Eddie & the Boys

1- Frank Zappa
2- Black Sabbath
3- Simon & Garfunkel
4- Opeth
5- Agalloch
6- Tom Petty
7- INXS
8- Type O Negative
9- Tom Waits
10- Rush
11- Sleep/High on Fire/OM

All of 11 was too awesome to leave off.
Wow, this is more or less the same as it was when I made this post last year. I still listen to all of these guys a lot, and I can't think of much else that would go in here instead. Maybe The Mountain Goats?

Weird Al is the only thing that makes modern pop music tolerable.

For that, I have to give him a lot of credit.

Really. There's nothing else to rank.

Well to be fair, from what I can, Springsteen's show was good if you're a fan, but I'm just not.

It's depressing how badly The Who sound now, though. I actually just saw them do a charity performance on TV last week, where they pulled out "Baba O'Riley" and I believe a brief Tommy medley, and while it sounded more rehearsed in a good way, they still just aren't the same.

No New York Dolls, Meat Puppets, or Replacements, but their ripoff bands all made it in. Don't ever tell me its not a popularity contest.

SRV is more than welcome. I'm surprised they remembered him since he didn't die recently and no commercials play his songs.

Well, we did pass the 25th anniversary of his death. I guess that's good enough, especially since Guitar World has been name-dropping him more than usual, and they seem to be a surprising influence on the Hall, along with Eddie Trunk.

Although I'm particularly happy that SRV and Kraftwerk made it on the long list this year, I do wish that Replacements, Purple and Yes also made a return as well. But nah, I guess Nine Inch Nails and NWA are more important.

NWA is pretty important IMO.

Well yeah, of course they are, but I'm still iffy on rap making its way into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame. Then again, NWA definitely had more of a rock-ish influence than, say, Tupac, so maybe I was wrong with my previous post.
