Whoa! When did you get that poster signed?
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

It was part of the deluxe package when I ordered the box set version of the new album back in May/June. I've been keeping it in its tube for protection for months and my parents decided to frame it rather than me doing it out of my pocket.  :joy:

Spark Of Spirit

Wow, you guys got a lot of cool stuff. I got:

Super Mario 3D World
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds
The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD
A bunch of books including "The Idiot" by Dostoyevsky
Trigun Anime Legends Collection (I have the first DVDs released, but I can't turn down more Trigun!)
The Angry Beavers: Complete Series
The first 3 Jars of Clay CDs in a package (Mid-90s alternative is still a bit of a soft spot for me)

I got more than I was expecting, actually. But, thankfully, I gave some good stuff out which is always more important.

I got a pair of headphones, King Kong on DVD (the original) bundled with Son of Kong, a Dilbert collection, Regal theater coupons, and a bunch of snacks. The real standouts are some European toffee candy I'd never heard of and specially flavored almonds. I rarely ask for a whole lot of stuff on my Christmas lists anymore, so I didn't get a whole lot, and I'm fine with it.

In my family's case, it's what we do on Christmas that's more interesting than the presents. What we love to do every Christmas is go to the movies. This year, we went to see Frozen, and it was totally worth it. :swoon:

We also had a festive dinner consisting of prime rib with horseradish, spinach-cheese casserole, glazed carrots, and Yorkshire pudding. For dessert, we had molten chocolate cake and apple cider.

King Kong is still one of the greatest movies ever made.

Son of Kong, however...

Son of Kong is even better.

I'm embarrassed I made that joke.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

I hope you all had a great day with your families. I had a quiet Christmas with my parents and my aunt, and last night I went to Christmas Eve Mass. It was one of the best I've had in a few years, honestly.

I got:

Arrow Season 2
Person of Interest Season 3
Count of Monte Cristo (the one with Jim Caviezel and Guy Pearce)
Kirby Triple Deluxe
Brian Setzer - 13
Brian Setzer Orchestra - Wolfgang's Night Out
The Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle
Eight Days of Luke by Diana Wynne Jones
Rendezvous With Rama by Arthur C. Clarke
The Abolition of Man by C. S. Lewis
The Great Divorce by C. S. Lewis
The George MacDonald Treasury

I'd say my family and friends know me pretty well! That's some great stuff!
