Wait, I thought you bought Nier last year and said it was good but not for everyone? ??? Maybe I'm confusing you with someone else...
I did, I haven't played much, though. It seemed pretty cool from what I played.

*Looks up KARA out of curiousity*

QuoteSo what is Kara ? As far as we know, it can look after house, do the cooking, mind the kids, organise your appointments, speak 300 langages, and remain entirely at your disposal as a sexual partner...

...
FUCK YOU DAVID CAGE FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU FUCK YOU

THERE'S THE DOOR

That KARA thing is bad and David Cage should feel bad about it. Why do we get this shit while Suda51's classic adventure games remain untranslated?

Okay, false alarm guys. The whole thing is actually just a tech demo for some sort of new technology Cage's company is using that's able to record face and body movements simultaneously with the actors voice. So don't worry, it's not a glorified sex toy...I think. :whuh:

...but the intention was there.

And that's bad enough.

Thank god, I was ready to smash all my consoles and graphics card just to ensure that I would never come into contact with it.

Oh, no doubt about that. It really speaks volumes about Cage's state of mind. Judging from that short film, he's either a really sucessful loser nerd who can't get laid to save his life, or a pretentious douche.

Just got a free copy of LA Noire for pre-ordering Max Payne 3 on Steam.

I fucking love Rockstar now. $40 worth of free games for pre-ordering a new one... amazing. This totally makes up for the delay.

Too bad this still doesn't do shit for Devil's Third. Either way that project is screwed unless another publisher picks it up.

My favorite sports games are Mario Tennis (for the N64) and Sega Soccer Slam (a really underrated gem of a game). Well, if you count skating games then I also liked SSX Tricky, Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 (1 and 2 were good, but I liked 3 the best), and Aggressive Inline. Splash Down was also a good game. Oh yeah, and I also really liked NBA Street Volume 2 back in the day.

Oh yeah, and there's also the Mario Kart games which are about the only racing games that I really enjoy.

You should try Outrun some time (especially Outrun 2 and it's spin offs), that game is just class.

But I do agree that older sports games were better a sa whole because they were more arcade-inspired and less simulation they are now. You didn't have to be a basketball fan to play NBA Jam, and Hockey fan to play Mutant League, a football fan to play NFL Blitz, a skating fan to like THPS, or a racing fan to play Mario Kart or Road Rash.

Nowadays, it's like it's aimed only at the superfans of each sport instead of everybody like they used to be.
