I have never seen a DLC pack that actually made me want to buy a game... until now.

QuoteThe year is 2007. It is the future. Earth has been ravaged by a nuclear war and new paths for peace must be found. A U.S. cyborg army may have found a solution: a powerful bioweapon on a distant island. A Mark IV Cyber Commando, Sergeant Rex Power Colt has been sent over to gather information and figure out what the hell is going on.

I know! You never see that kind of creativity with expansion packs, ever!

That should be a game.
It is! It may look like an AFD joke (and indeed, the trailer was posted on the first), but it's real, and will either be released as a DLC or standalone download later this year. :joy:

It can't be real.

There are colors!  :zonk:

Well, I mean, Far Cry 3 was actually pretty colorful from what I've seen. Really just tropical blues and greens, but still a lot more that most modern shooters. BioShock Infinite and Borderlands 2 had awesome color palettes as well. But yeah, it's crazy that an 80's sci-fi parody game is one of the most interesting looking FPS's of the year.

Got to say that whole article was a nice laugh and shows these guys nice sense of humor. Seriously I just laughed at the fact that the pirates couldn't understand what they were doing.

Favorite bosses:

Hack 'n Slash - Nelo Angelo, with the last fight with Bayonetta's counterpart not too far behind.

Shoot Em Up - Gunstar Heroes' Golden Silver on Hard. Hopefully Hardest too.

Beat Em Up - Shiva SOR2/3/Remake (Every fight except for the first one in 3. Remake is Godly for using him so much.)

Platformer - Ask Spark  ;D

3D Platformer - Shadow in Sonic Generations. SG easily has the best bosses out of any 3D Platformer.)

FPS - The very first Cyberdemon fight. There's so much room to move around and those pillars are great cover.

Favorite levels:

Hack 'n Slash - Whichever Ninja Gaiden 2 level had the stairs with the buttload of ninjas  ;D

Platformer - Casino Night Zone

Shoot Em Up - Metal Slug 3 Final Mission

Beat Em Up - SORR's version of Streets Of Rage 2's final level.

FPS - Doom 2's Focus just because of the music.

As far as hack n' slash bosses go, my favorites are Vergil from DMC3 and Doppelganger Ryu from Ninja Gaiden Black. As for the "big" boss fights, I've always had a particular liking to the Cerberus fight from DMC3, and the Bone Dragon fight from Ninja Gaiden Black.

QuoteHack 'n Slash - Whichever Ninja Gaiden 2 level had the stairs with the buttload of ninjas  ;D

That was Chapter 10 (or Chapter 13 in Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, though Sigma 2 REMOVED that buttload of ninjas :( ). In addition to that, I also love Chapter 7 (the airship chapter), and Chapter 11 in NG2, and I love Chapter 12 of NGB for being very Zelda-like while also having a kick-ass boss (honestly, whenever I'm fighting a dragon, I'm pretty happy :) ).

NOOOOO! Not my buttload of ninjas..Gah, Team Ninja Dog.

I like the Nelo Angelo fights a lot more than Vergil. I also like Credo more.I wanted to say that in the unpopular.

I really want to get Ninja Gaiden Black. I'm sure it would be high on my list of favorites.

My favorite big bosses are all in Bayonetta. Bayonetta does what God Of War failed at.

I think that my main problem with the Bayonetta bosses is that they take too long, at least for me. Many of the later ones are heavily layered with health, and the fights can take a while to complete, at times. I'm just not a fan of long boss-fights, especially in action games. I think the actual design of the boss-fights in Bayonetta are good, but I'd prefer if they took about half as long as most of them take to defeat.
