Signed Bayonetta's and Miku's. Not sure who to choose between Ristar and Vectorman.
Oh, at this stage you can vote for any of them the three choices were for the first round. It's the first three to get to 1000 that matter.

I actually like all the choices, and since Alex Kidd is confirmed to be DLC and Joe Musashi is in the game everyone else is gravy.

Shame Kiryu didn't make it, though.  :(

Oh sweet. Just voted for both of them, plus Sega Sanshiro an the Chu-Chu's. ;D

Though, I would've rather have had Black Rock Shooter as an option over Hatsune Miku.

So, yeah, I kind of want this game. I'd like to see Bayonetta and Ristar added. And I don't see him on the list but Jack from MadWorld would be awesome.

Spark Of Spirit

I still want to play this! Everything I've heard is that it blows away the original, and the original was pretty good.

I'm also hoping this kicks Nintendo to finally push forward with the next Mario Kart. Less item-spam would be great!

So I got to play this at my friend's place while my Wii-U is out.

It is excellent. I can't stress how awesome these courses are, the Afterburner and Skies Of Arcadia courses are two of the best courses I've ever played in a racing game and co-op world tour is loads of fun with friends. Honestly, if you want a good kart racer this is probably one of the best ones for its insane combination of Diddy Kong Racing and OutRun driving mechanics.

Basically, if you enjoy the genre you need to try this game out. The courses seem to get crazier and more creative as the game goes on, and the transforming gimmick is fantastic. It blows the first one away totally.

The game has been getting great reception for the most part, but for some reason critics seem to be rating the Wii-U version of the game significantly lower than the XBOX360 and PS3 versions. I wonder what reason that could be for?

Either way, of the games I'm going to get this Christmas, I'll probably end up getting Halo 4 and either this game, Max Payne 3, or DMC HD Collection, and in this case I think that all 3 of these games are under $60; its cool that this game was released at only $40, even though it carries the content of a full-priced $60 game, which may make this one of the few games besides Halo 4 that I would consider buying new.

The only difference I can see is that the Wii-U version is missing voice-chat (that might be patched in at some point), but otherwise I don't get it. I played three player split screen (with one on the gamepad) and there were no performance problems whatsoever. You can even use every single Wii and Wii-U controller with it, so it even has the most control options.

I can only guess is that there is still a stigma against kart racers without Mario in the title, because I would totally put this up there with Crash Team Racing, Double Dash, and Diddy Kong Racing. The courses are some of the best in the genre.

Oh, I thought I should mention that the polls seem to be so successful that Sumo Digital is considering taking any character over 1000 votes seriously to submit to Sega. So if you haven't voted yet, get to it!

Seriously, this game is great.

I thought this was a Wii exclusive so I haven't been paying attention and I've been dying for a multiplayer game like this so since I see that Sly Thieves In Time won't be out until next year, I'll tell my little brother that he should get this for Christmas.

Do they really not already have Vectorman in the game? Such an obvious choice. Anyway, I'll be voting for Axel and Blaze. (Vectorman and Bayonetta already made it to over 1000!1) Sucks that Alys is not in the running. :cry:

Please vote for Kazuma Kiryu, guys. He deserves to be in this game, especially since he drives a taxi in Yakuza 5!

Also, where the FUCK is the petition for Detective Isaac Washington and Agent G!?!? The damn ice cream truck is such an obvious choice it's unreal.

Spark Of Spirit

So the vote is over and they have decided to take all characters with over 1000 votes into consideration. This means the following will be looked into for DLC:

* Ryo Hazuki
* Segata Sanshiro
* Hatsune Miku
* Vectorman
* Bayonetta
* Ristar
* Toejam & Earl

None of them are guaranteed, but they will be looked into for DLC. I still expect characters like Billy Hatcher or whatever to show up regardless, but it's nice to see the fans come out to support so many characters.

Rynnec

Sweet! That's almost everyone I voted for.

Hopefully they'll be able to include as many of those characters as possible. It'd be nice to see Ristar and Vectorman, and Miku would be lol worthy.

How the hell did Axel and Blaze not make it?

Not enough votes. I also think they split the vote. But I voted for quite a few who didn't make it including Opa Opa, Welkin, Kiryu, and the Chus among others.

Nonetheless, I wouldn't really complain about any of those being DLC since they really are the best choices if you think about it.
