I have to say that I don't get the love for Rise of the Guardians. It feels distinctly like one of those mediocre Christmas specials that airs once and never again, somehow extended to feature-length.

Yeah, I should have said that the main thing making this movie popular is Jack Frost being a popular target of the affections of teenage girls. Nobody else has a very appealing design...
