I watched the episode with Scott's flashbacks. Man, Wolverine was such an unabashed asshole. :D That part always gets me. He was all like, "Hey, I just sniffed your girlfriend". Interesting how he was a dick all the way up to Prof. and Jean disappearing. I almost forgot about that plot twist at the end.

It has just occurred or me that I've never seen much of anything Turtles related. I haven't read any comics, I only saw one of the live-action movies many years ago when I was a kid, I only saw a few episodes of the 80's cartoon show (which really isn't up my alley), and the same basically goes for the 2K3 series and the current one on Nick. Based on this, I decided to start watching the 2K3 series, partly because it seems to be a fan favorite, and also partly because I need to take a little break from anime at the moment. I'll see how long this show can hold my interest.

Spark Of Spirit

That should be interesting. If you want to watch anything else I highly suggest the first '80s movie. It's much closer to the comics only with some of the humor from the animated show.

Coming from someone who hardly ever watches any new anime?

I'm burned out on the medium, and it's not like the first time that's happened to someone around here.

As for TMNT, it still has the first 5 seasons which people seem to like, so I can't complain.

I'm 3 episodes in so far, and it's alright. A lot of cliche and corny dialogue going around, even though this isn't the 80's cartoon, but it's still also entertaining enough to keep me watching for now.

Yeah, you don't really need to see the last couple of seasons, from what I recall. Just the first 4 or 5 and Turtles Forever.

And I'm watching Black Lagoon while I post this. :P

I am serious, just like how I got burned out from watching Breaking Bad a year ago because I couldn't stand watching bald people for long periods of time.

I finally caught up with the 2 seasons of Adventure Time that are on Netflix. I'll get to the rest eventually, elsewhere.

As for which series I should watch on the occasional down low from Net, I decided to flip a coin to see if I should rewatch Trigun or try Regular Show again. The coin picked RS. So I'll get to that soon. First, I'm watching something entirely different on there.

Around the same time last year, Criterion announced that their first animated film to get their treatment on DVD/Blu would be Fantastic Mr. Fox, which came out the following February. Now they have announced that this Feb, their next animated release will be Watership Down.

Not a bad call at all! I really should give it another watch, myself.

I have a confession- I couldn't sit through The Lego Movie. I can't recall the last time I've been as annoyed with a film, but wow, did it do nothing for me.
