Yeah, you know exactly which audience Disney is going for. The audience who wants more stuff like Alvin & the Chipmunks or The Smurfs movies.

Whatever.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

I'll raise an eyebrow once I see the trailer.

DarthGonzo's new blog is Disney/TDA focused so I though I'd post it here for further discussion.

Hamilton Camp really embodies Fenton/GizmoDuck. They got a new voice actor (obviously) for the DuckTales game and while he nails GizmoDuck his Fenton just isn't a match for Camp's.

I wasn't sure how that'd turn out, so I guess now I know.

The later episodes weren't so good when they focused on Bubba, but Fenton was always fun, especially as GizmoDuck. I'm pretty sure they quickly dropped Bubba, as well.

Imma send this to Darth, but I thought before I do, you guys would like to see it as well.

This is a promotional backpack for the block, goodies and all. Pretty cool, huh?

Nice! Thanks for sharing, I had forgotten most of that stuff.

Now he's been talking about Rescue Rangers. If you refresh the blog, you'll find another post about the show.

I have to agree, among the studio's earlier shows, RR holds up among the weakest. There's effort present, but it feels the most like a generic 80's cartoon between it, DuckTales, and Gummi Bears.

Rescue Rangers was the most generic of the TDA shows and while it wasn't as good as any of the pre-Gargoyles shows, it was watchable for what it was. But yeah, it's the show I feel the least urges to watch of all of them. The writing just isn't as strong as the others and the stories are just too thin and repetitious.

This one is for TaleSpin, which holds up much better for me. Although some of the designs here are crazy.

Jim Cummings posted this on his Twitter today. Hmmmm..........

I don't think that's for any movie or reboot plans, just something to show around. I could be wrong though.

Oh, but apparently some of the sets have been repackaged.

This is interesting, since it isn't DuckTales or the block's 25th anniversary, but it's cool that there's still enough interest in the DVDs to make new packaging for them. Maybe we'll get the rest of DuckTales or some other shows from DMC soon as well.

I think it's for the reboot of the comic.

It's interesting that they're repackaging them, but I don't quite see a need. I'd rather just get the final volumes of DWD and DuckTales out there.

I guess there isn't really a need to repackage them, but going to slim packs does allow for stores to fit more copies in, and if there's a market to do so, I say that's awesome. It's nice to see these sets sell more.

As for more comics, I'd be interested. I know they're trying one for Figment, but I haven't heard anything else yet.
