You guys all know I love Urusei Yatsura - it's my favorite anime/manga/piece of fiction of all time. You guys also know that I really like podcasting, as evidenced by the 130+ podcasts I've done on Manga Mavericks. I've now merged both interests together into a NEW Urusei Yatsura podcast - #Lum Squad!

I'm doing this new monthly UY-focused podcast with AC, who we in the UY fandom have dubbed "Father Lum" for his #dailylum and #lumsquad threads on twitter. Every month we're going to focus on a new topic surrounding the series - be it the manga, anime, fandom, characters, individual episodes/chapters, and lots more!

In our first episode, we discuss the first volume of the new Urusei Yatsura omnibus editions Viz is releasing as well as our personal histories with the series, and examination of Ataru's character, and lots of fan Q&As! We've already recorded our second episode about the anime, which I'm hoping to have out next week. If you're a UY fan, please give the show a listen!
