Jars Of Clay - Trouble Is

AllMusic sometimes misses the boat entirely. I actually enjoyed Morning View but to an extent and that was it for me.

Morning View's just as good as S.C.I.E.N.C.E. and Make Yourself to me, personally. A Crow Left Of The Murder and Light Grenades definitely aren't as great, but I still consider them pretty good albums.

The last one's the one where I think they lost their fucking minds. It's one thing to try and make an album of more chilled out music, but when none of the songs themselves are any interesting, what's the point? The only song I really love from those sessions, "Rebel Girls", isn't even on the album! It was a Best Buy-exclusive bonus track on last year's live album. When I heard it, I was astonished they didn't include the song.

Iron Maiden- "Infinite Dreams"

I'm willing to give Incubus the benefit of the doubt as, IMO, their last album was the only one so far that was truly "bad" (everything before that had some at least redeeming qualities, and I actually really like Light Grenades).

This isn't like, say, Our Lady Peace, who hasn't done anything but churn out forgettable garbage for the better part of 10 years. Man, Gravity is still such a terrible album.

I heard most of the new Paramore album and I really liked it. I'm also not much of a Paramore fan and haven't enjoyed a full album by them.

EDIT: That said, I think the song "Part II" trumps most of their early songs. It's a real great track.

Perfect rendition of a seriously perfect song. As much as I love Janick, I do kind of miss having Bruce come out and play the rhythm with Dave and Adrian. Hell, I wish they'd bring this one out more regularly.
