AC/DC- "Little Lover"

Oh damn, that's a nice solo, and the beat is sick. I haven't heard this one in a long time, but I'm glad that I just did!

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Oh, and I liked most of the new Paramore album.  There were some songs that I didn't care for, but some of them are awesome.  "Hate to See Your Heart Break" reminds me so much of Stevie Nicks, and I just love songs like "Fast in My Car" and "Anklebiter".

Hell, I even liked a few songs off the newest Fall Out Boy record, including the lead single(which has a ridiculously long name that I can't remember off hand).

What you're thinking of is "My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark", quite possible one of the dumbest titles I've ever heard.

Spark Of Spirit

It's a Fall Out Boy song title. The only ones worse at song names were Panic At The Disco.

I'm Like a Lawyer How I'm Always Trying to Get You Off.  A Little Less 'Sixteen Candles', A Little More 'Touch Me.  Yeah, I see what you mean.

Although nothing's worse than this(Nevermind the fact that the actual songs are completely unlistenable): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/You_Can%27t_Spell_Slaughter_Without_Laughter

Reese's Pieces, I Don't Know Who John Cleese Is.  What a great name for a song.  Oh, and Ravenous Ravenous Rhinos, an obscure Simpsons reference from the Al Jean dark years.

Ghost- "Year Zero"

I won't refere to them as Ghost B.C., but damn, this kicks ass. I might do a review when I'm done.

what the fuck is "crunkcore"

I must be way behind the times.

Nel_Annette

Crunkcore is the infection you get from wiping your ass on rusty metal.

I assume.

Can someone explain to me the difference between why there is a distinction between "Metal" and "Metal Core". Every "Metal Core" song I've every heard is either "Screamo" (another genre name that makes no sense) or "Alternative" and has  next to nothing in common with "Metal"... So why does it have "Metal" in the title.

I guess what I'm asking is- 'why is the latter a genre name?'

Metalcore tends to have a more pronounced influence towards crust punk, crossover, or melodeath than say, screamo, which is what makes it qualify. A lot of acts in that genre tend to skirt that line, though.

I guess I just don't hear that distinction. But then I tend to think most genre labels are pointless.

Well I like my post-sludgecore neo-death/doom folk jams

Thou- "Burning Black Coals and Dark Memories"

I wish I got into these guys sooner. Their stuff is incredibly dark, but in all the right ways.
