My eyes have gazed upon things
You couldn't imagine
Neon storms on the airstrips at Sales Marsh

I saw hope in King Gomez Cape of eyes
Before the Ten Year Fog

Alas these things will disappear
Like shifting sands in an ocean's bed
Time to die
Time to die

Goddamn, absolutely chilling vocals and beautiful music. I love The Stranglers so much.

Warning, pop music overload.  It's kind of interesting though, just how much the quality fluctuates.

EDIT: Here's a Modern Rock one for comparison.  Love all the college rock at the beginning of it, then by the time Nirvana's In Utero tracks appear it starts going downhill.

It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

Oh my god. This track and The Grave And The Constant... some of the best music I've ever heard.

R.E.M.- "What's the Frequency, Kenneth?"

Have you ever had one of those moments where you're just out driving, and out of nowhere, one of your favorite songs starts playing on the radio, one you haven't heard on there in a while?

Happened to me last night with this song. I love little moments like that.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

The Beach Boys - I Get Around

For such a simple song, this little pop ditty is masterfully written. It's a shame the Beach Boys seem to be falling to the side a lot these days, I'd rather listen to them than most 60s artists. Even the Beatles.

I'm sure that if the band can pull off their first performance together for their reunion tour, they'll become back en vogue before long.

I agree with you, too.

Verve Pipe - "The Freshman"

I was surprised to hear the original acoustic version of this, released some four odd years before the actual single, on the radio yesterday. And hey, it's pretty good too.

Don Henley- "New York Minute".  Easily my favorite Henley song.

Demi Lovato- "For the Love of a Daughter"

Still gives me chills.

Deep Purple- "Pictures of Home"

Today feels like a Machine Head spinning night.

Blut Aus Nord - "II"

I'm just going to listen to their entire discography like the fangirl I am.
