Witchcraft- "An Alternative to Freedom"

This new album has a pretty mixed reception. A lot of people seem to think that they're selling out by cutting back on the retro metal sound they've stuck to, while others think it's a step in the right direction. I'm liking it so far. It's still sludgy and reasonably catchy, which are totally good things for this type of music, and it does have a nice modern-ish sound.

I'm not crazy on the vocals though. They remind me of Rise Against. I still think this is a step in the right direction, however.
