How many have you heard?

Quote from: Comeau on November 16, 2012, 05:05:50 PMI do like that Eminem song with her in it though.
I've heard a lot of hype on that song but I wasn't impressed at all.
Well, I got so burned out on the road
Too many fags, too much blow
And then Mick and I split up and I said,
"Kid, it's time to take a little bit of a hiatus."
So I got myself a gig at the coffee shop
and I love it.
Why don't you take that corner booth,
I'll take your order in a minute...

I dunno, how many singles does she have?  Pretty much all of those, and the only one that I think stands out is "Umbrella".
It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

Avaitor

So you're ambivalent to Rihanna, but do like "Love the Way You Lie" and "Umbrella"?

Huh. ;)

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Is that on toonzone somewhere?  Really don't want to go digging around toonzone.

See, I go on the site and I learn that Hopkins owns all of Friends on DVD, and is considering buying the show on Blu Ray as well.  These people.

You don't remember this?

And wow, Christina Aguilera looks and sounds like a garden gnome now. What on earth happened to her?

Riverboat Gamblers?  You Star Dudes listen to punk rock?  That's cool.

We dabble. Basically, whatever sounds good to us, we listen to. Our music collections is a mixed bag. We've even got the original "Rawhide".

I'm not trying to challenge you, but you have to admit- answering a question with a question is the same as not having anything to say. Or: null and void your original point.

Good lord, it's kind of ridiculous to have 7 singles on one album.

Not if it's extraordinarily popular. Doesn't Teenage Dream have that many singles on it, too?

David Bowie- "Speed of Love"

Not really, since I said all her songs sounded the same to me, which naturally means all of her singles(the songs that get radio airplay) because I've never bothered to listen to a full album nor do I care too.  If what you say is true and she has had 33 singles in the past, what, seven or eight years, then that tells me that a majority of her songs do sound the same or at the very least similar, because aside from "Umbrella" I maybe could only name two or three other songs that stood out at all, the rest just kind of blend together.  Kind of like songs by Nickleback or Linkin Park.

And I kind of messed up your original post somehow(damn iPad).  Sorry.

Still ridiculous.
It's the highest selling album of all-time, though. Clearly it's a formula that others want to emulate.

Also, IMO, all the singles from Thriller were excellent.
