This is my favorite Ozzy-era album. I just love how angry everyone sounds, because of how screwed they all got by their label. Sadly, they'd never match this sound again, since their last albums were dull as dirt, but I still think it's the coolest thing.

Dire Straits - Walk Of Life

Sorry Mr. Dad, I really like this one. Especially the lyrics, they really sum up where they come from very well. Sure the keys could be more organ-ish instead of keyboard-ish, but I think it's a pretty great song.

Ah cool, glad to see I'm not alone.

I don't think there's really any period of Dire Straits that I outright dislike, though. Almost all of their stuff holds up pretty well for me.
