Dio- "Shame on the Night"

Finishing Holy Diver up for the first time in a while, and wow, I forgot how imperfect this album is. The two big hits, the title track and "Rainbow in the Dark", are still masterpieces and there's a couple of other gems, but there are more weak tracks than I remember, and even some of the ones I do like just sound way better live.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

The Verve - "Bittersweet Symphony"

Damn, this song just refuses to get old for me. Gotta love those violins.

You guys want to do something fun? Listen to the first single of every Eminem album and see how he's changed since then.

Here's the playlist:

"My Name Is" (not the first single from the album, but whatever; this was his first hit and the first song that got people to notice Slim, so I'm counting it)
"The Real Slim shady"
"Without Me"
"Just Lose It"
Crack a Bottle"
"Not Afraid"

I'll reserve my own comments for now, but I think it's really interesting.

"Never Say Never" - by Romeo Void.

Some New Wave action.

The new Smashing Pumpkins album. I'm liking it more than I expected to, which is always nice.

Michael Jackson - Dangerous

Off The Wall through Dangerous are still great pop albums.

I dunno, I stopped caring with Bad. I HATE when he went soft and political.

You didn't like Jam, Remember The Time, or Black & White?

Those are some of my favorites of his.

^Black or White is fucking awesome.  That is all.

UFO - "Too Hot to Handle".

Yeah, I'll admit of the "essential four" MJ albums, Dangerous is the weakest, but there's a lot of good tunes on it. Like this one that aren't too soft or over the top with his ego.

And, err, yeah that's what I'm currently listening to.

"Black & White" is too preachy for me.

Really? I thought it had a good balance of being anti-racist without being obnoxious about it like most pop music would be.

Maybe that's why I like Dangerous, since I don't think his views overshadow the music like they did on the stuff after it, or get as boring as Invincible. My only problem with it is the album is way too overlong.

How is "Black or White" too preachy for you and "Like a Prayer" isn't? ???
