It's probably because I just read the book and watched the movie, but that reminds me of The Outsiders.

That's pretty fair. It reminds me of rock n' roll from the 50's and early 60's, which fits in for the book.

Great album. The Tim version of Can't Hardly Wait is excellent, too.

RIP Gary Moore. You may not have been in Thin Lizzy for too long, but you and Phil Lynott were the heart and soul of the band.

Not much of a YYY fan (to me, Karen O is a PJ Harvey wannabe with not even half the talent she has), but after my mom watched... something on TV, I had to wash my mind out with this.

VERY disappointed with the new G. Love album. None of the tracks on it are bad... but it's not really the kind of music I like to listen to, either. Where's the funk? Where's the rock? Where's the hip-hop-lite? It's all acoustic blues stuff and dare I say some of it even sounds like country. Hardly a miss on any of his other albums, but this is one I just can't see myself buying.

Again, none of the songs on it are bad, but it's far from what I expected and what I, personally, enjoy.

That's lame, but artists need to experiment with their style every once in a while or otherwise they'll get flat. I'm not familiar with G. Love, so I don't know how far off this is for him, but if this album doesn't work, then he should look over his stuff and see what does and doesn't the next time he hits the studio.

They just played this song on one of my local digital subchannels, which plays music videos exclusively.  Apparently they have some 80s at 8 o clock thing, I dunno.  I love the 80s though, they were so terrible, and this song/video is proof of that.
