Galaxie 500 - "Summertime".
It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

Rush- "The Big Money"

Nothing wrong with some 80's Rush every now and then.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

If it's wrong, I don't want to be right.

I think after Moving Pictures, Rush essentially became a singles band. Their album content became less and less appealing with each release, but what hit the radio was usually strong enough.

Yes- "The Revealing Science of God (Dance of the Dawn)"

Eh, I personally don't think they hit that point until Hold Your Fire. I still love Signals, Grace Under Pressure and Power Windows for the most part. But I'd agree with you on everything after. Except Clockwork Angels. I think that works as a whole album as well.

And "The Garden" is still my favorite closer to a Rush album ever. Beautiful song, and if they never make an album again, it'd be a great last song ever.

I can still listen to just about all of Signals and still enjoy it, but the others take more effort. I guess we're just different there.

Well it helps that GUP was my first Rush album after Snakes And Arrows, so I just adore their early 80s stuff in general compared to the rest.

Slayer- "Evil Has No Boundaries"

My night hasn't been as exclusively Slayer-heavy as it should've been, but I definitely took some time to pay tribute to Jeff before I go to Iron Man 3. Their first album still, appropriately, slays.

Florence + The Machine - "Breath of Life"

I first heard this song during the end credits of Snow White and the Huntsman and it kicks ass.
The Star Twins + cartoons + geek speak =Twinsanity!

Al Di Meola, John McLaughlin and Paco De Lucia- "Short Tales of the Black Forest"

My friend leant me this album. It really is some of the best music on earth.

The Wildbunch - Neurocameraman

Probably my favorite song they recorded pre-Electric Six.

Commode

Weird Al - "The Saga Begins".
