I moved into Orlando for school two weeks ago, and all was well. I really like the town, and I'm especially enjoying university life.

However... when I came home for the weekend, I wasn't even here for an hour before my truck up and died on me. Apparently, it'll cost more to repair it than to just get a new car, so we're trying to take care of that as soon as we can, even though we can barely afford it. But how are you guys?
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

I start my sophomore year of college tomorrow. Hopefully I do better, improve, and gain more skills than I did in the first year (I did fine in the first year, just not as well as I wanted or learned as much as I wanted to really have any competitive edge in my field, yet).

I think the most interesting thing that's happened since I got here is that my roommate still hasn't shown up yet. School starts tomorrow. I don't know if he's going to come later in the week, because the last day to move in is on saturday, but I'm wondering if I really might end up having a double room all to myself. That'd be pretty sweet, in a way, even though it wouldn't particularly matter since I'll be spending most of my time away from my room, probably only spending the nights in it (and even then, when things get serious next semester, I'm likely not to return to it for a few day while I do my work elsewhere like last year).

I always had a single dorm room in college, myself, and I loved it. I had plenty of privacy and it was a good place to study. I could have studied at the library as well, but the problem is that it was always packed with people studying for their own exams, so you had to either come really early or wait for a while before a seat cleared up for you to use.

At any rate, while I've been done with college for a little while, I still have to take my board exams for licensure, and the first and much bigger exam is what I'm taking tomorrow. My nerves are through the roof right now, and I'm just taking this day to relax my mind and attempt to calm myself since test anxiety can really screw up my performance if I let it get to me. I feel like I've studied and prepared as much as I possibly can, though, so I just need to be confident enough and go in with the intent to pass it. Either way I'll feel super-relieved tomorrow after I walk out of the exam room, regardless of how I feel that I did. Of course, my tension will shoot up again as I wait for my grade to be sent to me, but at least tomorrow I can just walk out and not have to worry about any of that stuff.

Good luck on your exam, man.

I also wish you good luck!

Same here. Hope it goes well!

Dr. Ensatsu-ken

Thanks guys! Hopefully I'll do well, but at least I'll be done with the exam tomorrow, and then I can finally free-up more time to focus on job hunting and other things.

LumRanmaYasha

Good luck on your exam, E-K! I'm sure you'll do well.

LumRanmaYasha

So, how did your exam go, E-K?

Dr. Ensatsu-ken

Thanks, CX, and it was a pretty tough exam, as I expected. I'm not too sure how I did, as I won't get my grade back until at least Thursday. Whatever the outcome, though, I did the best that I could with this one. The real bummer is that, if I failed it, I'll have to wait 3 months before they allow me to retake it, which will be hell if I have to study even more for this shit.

Spark Of Spirit

Well, as long as you did your best. Here's hoping the grade reflects it!

Youch, I know what that's like. Like Spark said, you did the best you could, so hopefully your grade will reflect the hard work you put into it!
