Hows everyone been?

I see the excel saga manga has ended, gonna have to re-buy em all and read the lot at some point.

I think everyone's been reasonably okay from what I know of, E-E. It's unfortunate that some of our regulars and semi-regulars from the old Excel Saga Forum haven't been as active here since the change - Perhaps they miss their old comfort zone?  I dunno..

A lot of people weren't particularly active right before the switch, either. I miss our old community so much. So many good memories...

Got to see Caroll Spinney at the Brattle today. He and his wife appeared to answer some questions regarding Sesame Street and his personal life. He brought a surprise guest with him, and one of the audience members fed him popcorn. It was a fascinating Q&A, closed off with me asking him about Barney.

Thanks to growing issues at work with his supervisor, my dad finally lost it and threatened him. He didn't get arrested (Thank God), but he was taken to a mental ward for observation. They called again and told my mom she could pick him up so she just left. He has another job during the day, but this still sucks. Of course, it doesn't help that due to him being borderline diabetic he's had to take so many different pills in addition to medicine he was already taking. My mom and I highly suspect that might be the root of this. He's had some loopy behavior recently before this.







I can say more later, but right now, I could really use any support, prayers, positive thoughts; whatever. I just feel like my insides are tightened.

Oh man. That's rough, dude. I have a parent with unstable emotional and health problems who we've been trying to get help for years, and I feel for what you're going through. I hope your dad can get whatever help he needs, and I wish your family the best in this tough time.

I'm sorry to hear that, but definitely do double check medication. It's very easy for the wrong combination or prescription to mess up your head.
