I'm in the mood to post my favorite Donkey Kong songs. Why? Cause that series has awesome music. Keep in mind that they're not in order though. All I know for sure is Stickerbrush Symphony is my overall favorite.

Life in the Mines is possibly the only song I like better in DKCR than in the original. Also, I might've been a little generous to Stilt Village, putting it on this list. It's awesome, but I might have been more concerned with giving DKC3 some credit.

There are some other songs I would've liked to have had, such as Gangplank Galleon. But their exclusion should serve as a testament to how awesome Donkey Kong's music is.

So if you have an iPod, iPhone, iWhatever product you might want to check out this app called SnesMusic. It's a free app that plays the actual music files from SNES games (NES, Game Boy, etc. support can be purchased for 99 cents each). It's a great way to have a bunch of classic game soundtracks and they hardly take up any space at all.

If there's a way to make the sound where Mario gets on Yoshi in Super Mario World my tone for receiving text messages, that'd be awesome. I've wanted that to be my text tone for quite a while now.

HAHAAAAAAAAA, figured out how to make the Yoshi Mount sound my text tone! I also have the Pokemon Center healing sound from Red and Blue as a standby option. And my ringtone is now the Underworld theme from Super Mario Bros, which even speeds up to the "hurry up you only have 99 seconds" after a certain amount of time.

I love being a nerd.

Yeah, I've been thinking about that. It is better the any of the original games. Almost would make it hard for me to go back to another of them (BK3 already ruined SOR3 for me) Now I just got to get the XBLA version of Streets Of Rage 2 so I can play online and my collection will be complete.

Great choices! I would personally put this as either the first or last track, but I just love that theme.

And this is one of the reasons I prefer the SNES version of TiT to the arcade.
