When a Konami series is dead, they turn it into a pachinko game. They've done it with everything from Goemon to Contra. Once they make a pachinko game, the series is never given any attention by Konami again.

Do you guys watch AlphaOmegaSin? He has some videos that do a good job laying out Konami's problems.
