One of the really interesting things here is that Lauren Tom is named to return as Minh, but Toby Huss isn't for Kahn. I wonder who'll replace him.

Not to mention what they'll do with Luanne and Lucky.

Edit: I'm conflicted about this happening, FTR. I don't really see what untreaded ground the show needs to touch on today, but also, if anything, I trust Mike Judge after getting two high quality revivals of Beavis and Butthead. At the same time, I feel like B&B is easier to revive for modern sensibilities than a show set as firmly in its place in time like KOTH. I want it to be good and I hope Judge wouldn't come back for just a quick paycheck.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

POCKET SAND!
RIP to a legend.

I'm now curious as to how they're gonna handle this in the revival. I've seen people say that maybe his voice got messed up due to years of chain smoking catching up to him & now he has to use a voice box. So that way, no one will notice the difference.

Grey DeLisle posted a picture of adult Bobby in the upcoming revival.

My favorite thing was learning about how Bobby decided to learn Japanese Robata Grilling, which uses charcoal as it's form of cooking. Gotta love how this probably disappoints Hank somewhere.

It's Hank's fault for having bad taste. As a kid, I used to think he had a point because of how earnest he was about his love for propane, but then I found out you can't get that smoky flavor when using it, and now Hank just comes off as an idiot to me.

Sometimes, I do think that eating at the Hill House is a horrible experience. Hank does not strike me as the kind of man that would season his meats, they usually buy the most generic brand of food (The fact that they drink Mega Lo Mart soda over name brand) and while Peggy is probably a decent cook, Bobby is clearly better in that regard based on that one episode where he took Home Economics seriously and read a cooking magazine/book and he was able to surpass Peggy like that. So, I would imagine that his love of propane and being bland with cooking would make me wanna eat something else.

I still think of the episode where Peggy and Bobby realize that they prefer charcoal-grilled burgers to propane. It's likely that Luanne might have actually seasoned them, but it shows how mediocre of a griller Hank is.

Honestly, that just makes Hank look worse if even Luanne knows how to prepare a burger but he, the guy who sells grills for a living, can't.

But in a way, I like that Hank is a character I can have a different perception over time. Thinking he's a stick in the mud as a kid, seeing him as the one sane man in an insane town as a teen, and then realizing he's only sane in comparison to Dale, Bill, and Peggy and he's got his own glaring blind spots and eccentric hangups as an adult.
