Mega Man 7 - Cloud Man
7 has such an underrated soundtrack. This is a great example of how classic Mega Man music CAN work outside of 8-bit trappings. Too bad, they never really followed up after this. 8's soundtrack was fairly standard stuff.

I've never heard such a boring Mario soundtrack before. The rest are pretty good, though. Rival Schools' track is kind of fun, though not the type of thing to pump me up for a fighting game. The one from Chrono Cross is unconventional for video game music, which apparently is sin to most people on this board, but it's actual good music (which is what I care about), so I ranked it 2nd, and the Xenonlade one was the most entertaining one to me, as that's music that actually gets me excited to play a game.

Interestingly enough, I've never played any of these games before (save for bits and pieces of SMG), so I can say that this is a 100% unbiased opinion on my part.
