And that's when I'll drop the MCU.

Unless Hill puts on the Robin Sprakles wig and starts singing "Two Beavers Are Bigger Than One".
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

By the way, was that the same Senator from Iron Man 2 who was a secret member of Hydra in this movie? It's been ages since I've seen IM2, but that totally looks like him.

Yep, that's him.

Garry Shandling has not aged well.

Even though I don't like IM2, I feel strangely compelled to go back to that movie just to see if there are any hints that he was a member of a Hydra, or if they just made that up for this film. It'd be crazy if even a minor detail like that was planned out in advance like other things in this franchise.

I mean, there's Wakanda technology in IM2, and they still don't have a strong enough screenplay to confirm for Black Panther yet, so it's possible.

Loved the movie! Not my favorite superhero film of all time, but pretty damn close. I hope Falcon returns for future installments in the MCU.

I'll be sure to watch The First Avenger later this week, then I'll give more detailed thoughts on both. Probably.

And yes, Falcon was awesome. I'm glad to see that he's going to be sticking with Cap. I wonder if he'll make an appearance in the next Avengers film.

I also think that you may appreciate this film even more after seeing the first one, as it's just such a great follow-up to that movie. Just keep in mind that the tone of the movies are rather different. This movie was more like a James Bond/Jason Bourne film with superheroes, whereas the first one is more Indiana Jones-esque. Either way you can't go wrong, though. ;)

Glad you liked it, I'm still musing over seeing it again.

I think if you like this one, you'll like the original. It carries over a lot of what makes this film great only with a different atmosphere and film style. Avengers actually makes a good bridge between the two, making me wonder what they're going to do with him next.

I just got back from seeing it. I liked the first movie, and I think this one was about on par, even better in some ways. Very good how it brought all these things together, and I quite liked the Winter Soldier/Bucky parts. It was also great that Black Widow finally got a lot of shining moments.

I don't think it's as good as Iron Man 1 or 3, as well as The Avengers, but I think this movie just might rank next on the list for me.

It blows IM3 out of the water. :humhumhum:

Yes but you also happen to favor Captain America, whereas I favor Iron Man. :happytime:

Watch AEMH and be enlightened, fellow.

Different iterations of characters. :thinkin:

Similarly, I like Robert Downey Jr.'s Iron Man more than Bale's Batman, despite how much I like the Batman character in general.

EDIT: Also, now I really need to go back and watch Thor 2.

By the way, in this movie's soundtrack, I heard Avaitor say that one of the song title is a spoiler. Assuming we can talk spoilers in this thread, what's the song name?
