The Greatest Anime Ending Ever Tournament

You guys should know the drill for this by now. Like the VGM and Anime Opening tournaments, there will be no pictures for these, just the links. As always, please watch every ending in a match before voting. It won't take a whole lot of time, and it's the fairest way of making votes in a round where you don't know some of the openings. Remember we are judging the endings, not the shows we are for, so even if an ending is from a series you don't particularly care for please still watch it.

My Picks:

"Kaze-wa Mirai-ni Fuku" - I associate it just as much with the show as I do "H.T." I particularly loved the first and last images shown in this; Vash staring out into the vast desert at dusk, and him looking at the ruins of the ship at dawn. Iconic images right there, at least for me.

"My World Down" - I overall just love the song and the surreal caricatures and images shown here.

"SCARS" - Solid. The song grew on me after a few listens, and I do like the theme they went for in this one, even if I'm not generally a fan of clip-show openings and endings.

"Guidepost-Alien's Messiah" - I like the song a lot, though it's really simple visually.

"Kaze-wa Mirai-ni Fuku" - The imagery of Vash finally not having to fight anymore sandwiched between images of his travels says it all. The music is as great as anything else in the show and the lyrics are perfect-- especially the last two lines. One of my favorites.

"My World Down" - Catchy alternative rock with creative imagery that shows all the influences of the main characters. Another of my favorites.

"Guidepost-Alien's Messiah" - Good song, but the visuals are pretty plain.

"SCARS" - Not bad. The actual song is my least favorite of the four, though.

My Picks:

"Fantasy" - Beautiful song and visuals that capture the idea that Godai and Kyoko are both trying to seek out a "fantasy" apart from each other, though their lives continue to revolve around the other. I love every scene in this.

"Tactics" - The dubbed version of this song is way better than the original, imo. Probably my favorite Kenshin ending.

"Mouichido Kimi ni Aitai" - I like how Kaname and Sosuke are walking side by side in this ending, considering the events of TSR. The song fits perfectly as well.

"Merche Funebre" - Classical music is always a plus. Fits with the tone at the end of the episode too (iirc).

Tactics- I wish they had dubbed more RK endings, though "Heart of Sword" is still my favorite
Mouchido Kimi ni Aitai- I just really like the song and visuals
Fantasy- Good choice of song and creative use of visuals
Merche Funebre- Great song, though using an established classic makes me judge it harder

Fantasy - Perfectly matches the tone and themes of the series. Classic.
Tactics - Not bad. Way better than the original version.
Mouichido Kimi ni Aitai - I like the visuals, but the song is also really good.
Merche Funebre - You know, these Hellsing endings aren't bad. Good songs and strong visuals. But, somehow they just don't strike me.
