I'm kind of burned out on these competition threads in general, though, so I doubt that I'll participate in another one so soon.

12 Angry Men - I only viewed this movie once during its first round of the tournament but it's the only movie I like where dozens of people don't die so it holds a special place in my heart.

I'm glad it won. Once I think about it, tons of people also didn't die in BTTF but it's been forever since I've seen that.

And I'm always down for another competition.

A good final four. I know that I didn't participate in this tournament as I could/should have, but I am pleased with the final result.

Was planning to wait a bit longer, but it's been long enough that I might as well ask:

1. Are you guys still burned out on tournaments?

2. Are you guys burned out on anime/manga related tournaments?

I'm not burned out anymore. There's only one running, and since Pharass can't update it all the time, it has gone smoothly.

If you want to try a new one, go ahead.

I don't mind another one, but to be honest I'm so behind on anime and manga that I probably won't be able to participate in a lot of rounds which are fully comprised of series that others have read or watched but which I simply haven't gotten around to. But still, by all means, go for it. I do suggest that whatever category that you pick, though, to try and keep it from being too big. One mistake that we all made in previous competition threads that we ran was allowing for far too many nominations, which made the early rounds feel mostly boring and caused most people participating to lose interest by around the halfway point.

I myself have recently pondered doing another one of these threads. I was either up for another video game thread or one specifically geared towards live-action movies of a particular genre, such as horror, comedy, action, or even a sub-genre like comic book movies.

I wouldn't mind another one either. Although, what I'd really like to see is a "greatest comic" tournament. Which, of course, would include Japanese comics.

Personally, I'd like another attempt at a Greatest Animated Movie match.

Doing a comic tournament or re-booting the animated movie one were on my bucket list, but actually what I wanted to do was a greatest_episodes tournament. I've had the idea in mind ever since the Greatest Animated Series Tournament, but I put it off because I wanted to do the anime openings and endings tournaments first, and then I got sick of doing anime threads so I did the Live-Action Movie tournament. But recently I've been revisiting a lot of my favorite anime and favorite anime episodes, so I got the urge to finally make a Greatest Anime Episodes Tournament. But, if you guys would rather do an Animated Movie or Comic tournament or something else instead, I can roll with those too. What would guys prefer?
