Disney's next animated feature, it's teaser has been released early.

I actually have been avoiding this, to the point that I instantly paused the video when I hit the link. But it's about time that this has its own thread, which is why I'm posting it. But yeah, you'll see this when you go to Inside Out, even if you aren't checking it out yet.

Thoughts? The reception is pretty mixed, thus far.

I will probably have no strong feelings until I see an actual trailer and not a teaser. Though I did think it was kinda funny that they explained what the word "anthropomorphic" meant.

That "be-fur" pun is just awful, though.

I don't like watching teasers or trailers, at least not for movies I know that I want to see. I want to come in as unspoiled as possible.

Interesting that they went with a whole clip for a trailer, but it was pretty funny. Really like the voice acting and animation for the lead characters. The sloth gags didn't drag despite being as obvious as they were, and I especially loved the slow reaction the sloth has to the joke when his face slowly becomes a open-mouth smile. That was the funniest part of the clip for me. I'm looking forward to this one.

So you guys probably know my stand on trailers. Basically, I'll just wait until I see Good Dinosaur before I catch this.

But I've heard this scene being mentioned as a highlight from the film before, so I'm not too surprised that they chose it as a teaser. And boy, does the reception seem to be mixed for it.

This time, we finally get a plot-focused trailer rather than more gags.

So an upstart with fluffy hair tricks the public into thinking the minority is the enemy using outdated biology and age-old racial fears, all in a bid to win a seat of power. I see what you did, Disney.

I liked it though.

A couple of the people in the theater I went to laughed at that reference.

Man, what a good film about racism. Judy Hopps did nothing wrong, she is a victim of her upbringing and her parents' over protectiveness. :^) In all seriousness though, it's kinda clever that they used predator/prey relationship for races and all that, it made the whole thing ambiguous since you can't solely place what one racial trait on the predator/prey food chain.

PS Flash is best character despite his scene being used in trailers, but his other appearance man, it explains so much.
