The Yoshi's Story sequels feature baby Mario alongside baby Donkey Kong. But we know that Donkey Kong is actually much younger than Mario because Mario was originally enemies with the original Donkey Kong. For these Yoshi games to suggest Mario and modern Donkey Kong were babies together means they don't exist to me. :P

I consider the YI games after the first as the stork having night terrors about his first encounter over and over again.

Hopefully they include that into the next Yoshi's Island game (I wouldn't be surprised if they do make another one and it's on par with the other two sequels). Though that would require them to make a new cutscene, which they seem opposed to. :P

The beginning of all three games are identical with the same cutscenes in the same order with the same art style. It's astonishing how lazy it is. In the second game the only difference is the number of babies and in the third one an additional mention of a vacation island for the Yoshis.

That's pretty much it.

Yoshi is really kicking his storytelling to the next level.

I don't even care about the story in these games, but I would rather nothing over using the same exact sequence being played over and over in every game.

I agree. I just felt like making fun of it. :P

Hey Spark, you're a Monkey Island fan, right? This isn't the right thread to ask this, at least not for me, but what did you think of Escape?

Spark Of Spirit

Never played it, but from what I've seen it looks like it was a complete whiff. Which is why I haven't played it.

The control scheme ruins the game badly. Tank controls do not work in a point and click adventure style game.

What's going on with Castlevania now and in the near future?

Nothing. The series is dead.

So do they just have no idea what to do with it? Or did it get Konami'd?
