Brak will be in an upcoming episode, and Andy Merrill will be voicing him!

Wow, is this going to be the first time he voiced Brak since the Cartoon Planet revival from a decade ago?

I know that we almost got that Space Ghost episode of OK KO, but nothing ultimately came of that.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

This'll be the first time in a while he's done Brak in a professional production, but he's made a lot of Brak puppet finger videos on his youtube over the past few years, and apparently even tried to turn the concept into a pilot for [adult swim] that they sadly didn't pick up.

I've been on a real Brak kick lately - been rewatching the show, listening to the soundtrack from the Brak Presents the Brak Show Starring Brak special, and even bought the new sweatshirt from Daylight Curfew, so I'm really happy he'll be reprising the role for Jellystone. Love to see Andy get to make and do more voices in stuff in general, Brak or not.

That's lame of AS, but I'm not surprised. I heard Steve Whitmire pitched a puppet show to them right after he got fired from the Muppets, but they wouldn't take it. AS just doesn't like puppets, I guess.

I feel like a little Brak goes a long way, and without a Zorak (or Brak's Dad, the best character ever) to play off of, it could be tough to sit through. Although I think finger puppet Brak filling in for bumpers could definitely be fun.

The massive CN crossover special will FINALLY premiere on March 6.

Daikun

The final episodes are up now on Max.

Saw the crossover clip, and besides how clunky the animation is, main thought was "... what kid watching is supposed to understand what's happening?" Like Squirrel Boy popping up, or Muriel coming out of a portal like she's an Avenger? I guess the younger viewers diligently watching Checkered Past or have parents who are hardcore CN fans, but it felt like those old Newgrounds shorts where characters were jammed together without any rhyme or reason. Or those incomprehensible Pooh's Adventures videos on YouTube.

Avaitor

Yeah, this does feel more like it's for older fans or really for Greenblatt and Atoms to have some sort of closure for their era of CN. And I mean, I'm the right age for that to appeal to me, but I'm not surprised to see if this show never really blew up with kids.

Honestly, OK KO's crossover works better for all ages.

Maybe it's just me, while I'm grateful that the CN characters appeared in their original art style, there is a small part of me that wishes that they were stylized in the Jellystone art style. I say that because of how they stick out like sore thumbs and how they were animated like some flash game from when I was a kid.

For me, neither this nor Crossover Nexus really worked. And I'm otherwise easily entertained by crisis crossover slop. The reason why is they're just reminders to me that history and references are almost all that CN has left these days. Same reason I don't get the Pibby hype. It's just gonna be more of that if it ever manifests.
