I saw a CD that was about songs the author apparently listened to while writing it.

It was all classical music.  ???

real adults and/or fans of the book watch this in normal theaters. that is seriously probably the best guess i have for why this garbage is so highly anticipated.

The trailers are incredibly creepy. I'm hoping that once the audience is actually watching it and not just fantasizing what's going on, some of them will realize how messed up the whole thing is.

the commercials are actually bearable but of course they don't show shit. i have never seen a trailer.

hopefully the movie retains the book's worst parts like the vomiting and then america has a big WHAT THE HELL WERE WE THINKING moment and the film gets forced into obscurity.

A funny joke on Conan's episode on 2/10:

Conan:  Hardware stores are actually stocking up in rope and duct tape in anticipation of "50 Shades of Grey". Apparently tying your boyfriend up is the only way you'll get him to see "50 Shades of Grey." These guys over here are like, "That's right, yeah". And their girlfriend's are like, (shaking finger) "You're going to go!"
Andy:  "I'm not seeing that sex movie! No way Jose."
Conan:  "We're going to that environmental documentary!"
