So on toonzone, wonderfly and I have been working on these monthly participation clubs. He had a sci-fi book of the month club going for a while, and  I tried a film club that crashed and burned on impact, but we're pulling a little more to make these stand up stronger.

Anyway, I was wondering if you guys would be interested in integrating discussion on these particular titles over here, as we pick them? We already have the book and comic book (well really, graphic novel, but we're down for individual issues as well) picked, and having a tiebreaker poll for the film right now. If there's some interest in this, I'll go into detail on the choices and we can plan accordingly.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Sounds interesting. However, I can't promise to participate every month, but I'll try.

I have kind of a full plate in the book area, but I'll try to comment in the other areas!

Well the film is still being decided, but here are the other two-

The Book of the Month is my own nomination, The Three Muskateers. I picked it after a particular reference in Django and my own interest in reading the story, and it won out. You can't go wrong with Dumas.

As for the Comic of the Month, my nomination made it through again, the Wolverine mini-series. I've been craving the chance to read it again for a while, so I went with it. This is also a good choice to read through, since the next Wolverine movie is going to be an adaptation of it.

I'll tell you the film when it's decided.

Excellent choice, definitely one of my favorites.

Well, the film poll officially closes in about an hour and a half, but I probably won't be on, so I might as well call the clear winner early.

It's Robocop.

Do you guys still plan on catching up with these discussions?

So who's still interested in these?

I just bought a copy of The Three Musketeers from Barnes & Noble, I have RoboCop set up on my instant queue, and I'm going  to go over to my local comic book shop to read the first 2 issues of Wolverine either today or tomorrow.
