Excellent atmosphere. Reminds me a bit of Goodbye Sky Harbor, Psychedelia and Shoegaze. It's nice to see bands still appreciating atmosphere instead of just aggressive sound.

Speaking of the band I was talking about: this is a pretty cool cover... and this is one of my favorite album closers.

Very much the influence. Neige has never been afraid of showing off his love for shoegaze in his music, no matter how black the metal.

Metallica- "...And Justice for All"

Whenever I come back to their music, the first thing that hits me is how bloated it is. There's no reason this had to be 9 minutes longs. The band could've easily kept their original intention if they cut a couple of segways out and reduced some repeat riffs.

But nope, that's not the Metallica way! Bigger is always better. Even when it's not.

Not a single track on Master of Puppets is under five minutes in length. Not one.

Bloated indeed.

"Bloated" is probably the best descriptor of Metallica there is. If James sounded high-pitched, they would be the art school snobs' favorite band.
