Yaz - "Situation"

Yes, I'm suddenly in the mood seeing as how that esurance ad Spark posted has this playing in the background. Such is life.

Spin Doctors - Two Princes

This band might be the most obvious example of sophomore slump there is. But I really do dig their first album.

Heh, funny you should mention them; I see they're actually going to be out this way for a free concert at the end of the month (part of the entertainment package for the rib cook-off they have here every year). I haven't been to an actual concert since Gin Blossoms did the same thing two years ago, so this should be interesting, provided I can make it down there that is.

...and as far as their second album is concerned, I actually liked that one as well (and it wasn't a total flop; it was certified Platinum in the States, and did sell over a million copies). It was their third album when the wheels really started to come off.

Iron Maiden- "The Prisoner"

Thinking about making a "starter" album of Maiden's music to make for my friends, as well as one for Demi. It'd start with this.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Joe Walsh - "Life's Been Good".

"I go to parties sometimes until four, it's hard to leave when you can't find the door."
It doesn't matter what you say, soon you'll be dead anyway.

Dio- "I Could Have Been a Dreamer"

I've been on a Ronnie kick lately. I played Rising earlier, and I'll put Holy Diver on later. Maybe The Last in Line too.

Knife Party - "Bonfire"

Breaking Bad has a tendency for me to appreciate music that I should have no business liking otherwise. It's weird like that.

Audioslave - "Show Me How To Live"

Classic rock stations here have slowly began to descend into this era now. Though I'll admit, at least it's better than Creed (and I actually do like this song for what it's worth, even if a hint of RATM preachiness still manages to drip its way in).

Avaitor

Yeah, before my classic rock station sold out to a Miami news station, they did start playing Audioslave. I thought it was a little too modern, but oh well. I guess it's retro to some.

Meat Loaf - Paradise By The Dashboard Light

I miss the rockabilly tinge the first album had at times.

Honey Claws - "Digital Animal"

Another Breaking Bad piece. Damn, the soundtrack for this show is downright irresistable at times.

Foggle

That Handsome Devil is releasing a new (free!) album on the 28th. Apparently, it's going to consist of covers of the songs from The Jungle Book and a retelling of the story by the band. Here's the sample track they released:

Fire (I Wanna Be Like You)

So excite! :swoon:

The Wallflowers - "6th Avenue Heartache".

Is it weird if I like Bob Dylan's son more than the legend himself.  Because I kinda do.

Oh and that was a pretty cool song Foggle.

Barenaked Ladies - "One Week"

...shut up guys, I'm allowed to have guilty pleasures.
