Blondie - "Rip Her To Shreds".

Iron Maiden- "For the Greater Good of God"

Listening to AMOLAD twice in a row. Don't judge me.
Life is not about the second chances. It's about a little mouse and his voyage to an exciting new land. That, my friend, is what life is.

Sir, do you have any Warrants?
I got their first CD, but you can't have it, motherfucker!

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young - "Woodstock".

Iron Maiden- "Sea of Madness"

Now I have Somewhere in Time on. I don't see why Bruce can't be considered a legend because he's in a metal band. In fact, I feel compelled to make a post on tz explaining why traditional metal singers are among the most praise-worthy vocalists in all of music.

Do you count Dio in that tier as well? Just curious. Personally, I do.

I think if you knew anything about DLA then you'd already have your answer.

    • Bruce Dickinson
    • Ronnie James Dio
    • Rob Halford (to an extent- my thoughts on Rob are complicated)
    • Matt Barlow
    • Geoff Tate (up to the mid-90's, at least)
    • Blaze Bayley (fuck you, he's good)
    • Ian Gillian
    • Glenn Hughes
    • David Coverdale (I might be cheating with these last three, but they qualify as traditional metal to me)

    Anyone in this tier.

Anyway I'm listening to the other, other Demi song I could've used for my list.

Any thoughts on it? I don't really regret not putting it in since it's rather derivative of "Since U Been Gone" (no surprise, since Kelly Clarkson is one of her biggest idols, along with Aretha), with a bit of a reverse message. but I still really enjoy it.

I don't know him personally, so he could always surprise me.  :joy:

Spark Of Spirit

Spin Doctors - Two Princes

This band might be the most obvious example of sophomore slump there is. But I really do dig their first album.
