Nintendo skips E3, makes game demos publically playable.

Wow, Nintendo... Wow!

Nintendo has also announced that alongside E3, they're going to be doing something unique. Despite not having a press conference, Nintendo is instead bringing E3 to you! While we're enjoying the festivities in LA, gamers across the country will be able to walk into a local Best Buy to play some of its games featured at the expo.

There will be 100 locations between the US and Canada to house the demos starting June 11th. As Reggie said in the Direct presentation "This year, it's all about the games". Although we have no official list of the games or locations, we can be sure that the line will be about as long as the Wii U launch window.

Well, that's one way to generate sales and promote goodwill.

Nintendo and Valve are going to dominate this gen, no question.

lol! I know for a fact that I didn't see the Dartmouth NS location before. Perhaps the error message happened because they made a recent update.

Nintendo could actually start something with such a bold move - bringing the games to the people instead of vice versa. While I'm not necessarily saying Nintendo is dictating E3s future fate with console gaming, this could spawn something similar with their competition. O_o
No doubt, my interest is piqued.

Just have to figure out if I can take an hour or so off work on the Wednesday this goes down.
