I like every one of CN current originals except for Uncle Grandpa (which I don't hate or anything, but just don't generally find very enjoyable), myself.

What about Teen Titans Go? I had difficulty sitting through the bits of the show that I've seen, and I was never a fan of the original.

I haven't tried out Uncle Grandpa yet, though. I'm also considering trying Regular Show again, but the humor never sat too well with me in it for whatever reason.

I wasn't counting TTG! since it's a WBA production, not a CN studios one. I think it's...alright. Sometimes it can be funny, other times it's obnoxious as heck. I don't mind watching it most of the time though, but I wouldn't say it's really worth anyone here's time, especially if they never cared for TT in the first place.

Regular Show is still the most consistent and funniest current CN original for me. It improved a lot when it stopped relying on just bro-humor and weirdness and started using it's cast better and playing with more creative ideas. The one thing I've never cared for in it is Mordecai's infatuation with Margaret and that whole sub-plot, because it never really went anywhere and a lot of those episodes just weren't very well done (though there are some notable exceptions), but then it got dropped last year and the show has been all the better for it.

I've been enjoying my return to cartoons, after a period of only really caring about Archer and my handful of older favorites. I knew that I had to try CN's current output first, since the network has always had a special place in my heart, and I've heard good things about a lot of their recent stuff.

As for SU, I mentioned before that I think it could be a little better, but for what it is, the show's an enjoyable piece of work.

that's not true at all. mordecai has the same infatuation with with cloudy j, except it makes no sense that mordecai is still awkward around girls he likes with all that he went through with margaret and cj is boring. she is just a female cloud version of mordecai. the margaret episodes are some regular show's absolute best. i'd probably put death bear, camping can be cool and tgi tuesday in the show's top 5. her episodes helped make the show be more than a bro comedy.

Is your Shift key broken? ???

Nel_Annette

Fun random fact: Stemage, the guy behind Metroid Metal, actually played some fiddle for the music featured in the newest episode.

He means it. You won't believe the things he did to my Barney the Dinosaur plate.

Wow, the last couple of episodes have been very good. This week's especially blew me away.

I think the thing that makes Steven Universe special, besides the excellent artwork and music, is that it doesn't really go for laughs, but rather emotion. Adventure Time tries for a best of both worlds approach in that regard, but I come out of more from a good SU. I definitely have to recommend the show if you haven't caught up yet.

The half hour special was fantastic! They actually confirmed what people suspected the monsters being Gems, and we see Garnet get angry for the first time. Steven finally got to use his shield again. He really came into his own in this. Lapus was very similar to Pearl in her appearance. I'm guessing the three of them put her inside the mirror, which would explain her anger at them. I hope she comes back sometime. I know the creator said there wouldn't be a main antagonist, but it looks we'll have plenty of one-shot villains if this was any indication.

I'm glad that the first season got expanded, supposedly there will be more episodes really soon.

That was a great half hour, just like the past few episodes have consistently been getting better. I really feel that SU is finding its niche, and I'm glad that it's caught on!

Yeah, that was actually really good. This show started out just okay, but it's only gotten better and better. And it was a pleasant surprise to see them build up the lore a little, because I thought the creator said in an interview that they were never going to make it more complicated than just episodic adventures. But the whole "the gems want to get back to their home planet and the monsters are corrupted gems" plot seems like it make a nice little arc that the series can go back to from time to time. I imagine a hypothetical series finale would be the main gems finding a way back home.

Plus, Steven's shield power and regenerative abilities. Nice to see that develop, and I hope they develop it further. I'm a bit tired of his powers being nothing but happy accidents that show up as little deus ex machinas.

Though I haven't watched every episode, only about half, so that could be a completely invalid observation on my part.

Steven Universe has been doing a lot better in the ratings since it came back too. Of course, it helps that they got reruns every weekday, and the season getting expanded. Got to say, the scheduling with this show was the right call.
