Aside from the fact that you've resorted the dumbest possible comebacks that you've used in a while in order to cover up your idiotic mistakes and assumptions, I have one other thing to point out: I just remembered that you are the same guy who ranked School Days as one of his top 10 favorite anime, and found it to be legitimately good. Now, there you go, THAT alone is reason enough for nobody to ever find your opinions credible ever again. :>

You used to be a fan of Bleach. And you claimed the Sonic Adventure games are better than the originals, so how do you like that? .3.
:D I hate you both.

Stay back and let them toss the bombs in front of you. They won't hit you and they eventually stop throwing them. If you're worried about enemies hitting you here, using your character's forward special move by the screen edge behind you or jump kicking usually keeps them from approaching. When you have enough space to maneuver, it gets much easier. Especially if you time your throws right.

Explosions can take out other enemies, too. So if you're surrounded, try to lure them into the path of the explosions.

It's not a particularly easy level, but that like the motorcycle part in stage 2 just requires practice. Sort of like throw recoveries and managing hitstun.

Thanks for the advice. I'll try to implement that strategy into that section of the game once I get another chance to replay it. That turns out to be the section which I most often get a Game Over at. :P

You're welcome. I used to have the most problems in the factory level and the boss just before it. Once I learned how to use the elevators and enemy patterns to my advantage, I got hit a lot less.

But it's still hard!  :D

Yeah, I've always had a difficult time with explosions in games that have splash damage. It's one thing that REALLY ticked me off about NG2, ESPECIALLY because you're enemies didn't suffer any splash damage from explosions (unless you caused the explosion yourself). In a game like Streets of Rage it's not too much of a problem by itself, but it did present a challenge when I had to multi-task avoiding those while still beating the crap out of regular enemies.

Gimme a sec...

Yeah, good luck with that....especially considering that it's also bull shit. I don't ever recall writing something like that in any of my TV.com blogs. I DID write that I thought the Sonic Adventure games were great, but I was going on nostalgia back then, and even now I still like them, I just don't ignore their flaws like I used to.

Star Fox Adventures- 5
DuckTales- 15
Contra (NES)- 20
Mighty Morphin Power Rangers (SNES)- 10

Streets of Rage 2- 13
Devil May Cry 3: Dante?s Awakening (Special Edition)- 18
Shadow Complex- 14
Jump Ultimate Stars- 5

DuckTales, Contra (NES), Devil May Cry 3: Dante's Awakening (Special Edition), and Shadow Complex all move onto the next round. I have to say, I'm glad to see that SC made it, though I would have been fine with Streets of Rage 2 as well, since both are excellent games.

Round 1:

Match 31:

Sonic the Hedgehog CD

vs.

Mother 3

vs.

Pikmin 2

vs.

Ristar

Match 32:

Sonic the Hedgehog 2

vs.

The Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask

vs.

Mario Kart Double Dash!!

vs.

Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness

My Picks:

Match 31:
Pass

Match 32:
Exactly as listed- I like Sonic 2 a lot, MM is great but not my favorite Zelda, I like what I've played of MKDD even though I haven't played enough o it, and I haven't played the Pokemon game in this particular match

Foggle

Mother 3
Sonic CD
Pikmin 2
Ristar

Majora's Mask
Sonic 2
Double Dash
Pokemon XD

LumRanmaYasha

Match 32:
Legend of Zelda: Majora's Mask - Obvious #1 for this round, although admittedly I haven't played it in a looooong time.
Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness - I prefer Colosseum, but it's still a great Pokemon game and I wish they made more of theColosseumline of Pokemon games, but sadly they seem to prefer concepts like the Rumble line instead.  :(
Mario Kart: Double Dash - Loads of light fun. One of my first Gamecube games.
Sonic 2 - Haven't played.  :P

talonmalon333

My order on Round 32 is the same as Foggle's. I'll get back to you on round 31.

Ugh, I can't believe SOR2 didn't make it.
