Favorite match so far. I think all these characters are great:

Eikichi Onizuka - Best. Teacher. Ever.

Kogoro Mouri - Always a hoot, and honestly underrated. Episodes focusing on him and showing him solving cases by himself tend to be some of the best in the series, imo.

Fee Charmichael - My favorite character in the Planetes manga, and just as cool in the anime as well, even though I wish it didn't omit her character arc.

Akito Tenkawa - I remember it being hard to not draw comparisons between him and Shinji, and honestly, and I like Akito a lot more.
