I'd prefer 2 or 3 & Knuckles (perhaps they may have a chance of ranking higher on the list, but I doubt it), but I'm still fine with the first game being here as well. I'd honestly say it deserves to be higher, but at least they let it crack into the top 50, which is still more respect than I expected Sonic to get on a list like this.

49.Angry Birds (Sorry, Foggle)

This game doesn't belong on any video game list, period.

45.Metal Gear Solid

While I'm not a fan of stealth games, this game definitely deserves its recognition, so its a well-deserved spot on the list. Perhaps it should be higher, but its still nice to see it on the list all the same.

41.Super Mario 64

I would've expected this to rank higher (but then again, this ranking seems quite like something G4 would do), yet to be fair this is actually a pretty good ranking since taking out nostalgia and bias, SM64 has been outdone by many other 3D platformers since its debut, so ranking it at this spot is pretty good since it gives the game its recognition but doesn't rank it among the best of the best since its no longer the perfect game it used to seem to be back when 3D games were just getting their footing.

It was only Gen I. As long as Gen IV or V place higher, then I'm cool with Red and Blue being 57.

III was like the Ocarina Of Time of the open world genre. It would be silly to dismiss everything it did just because the sequels improved on it. They all simply built on 3's base.

Also, Red & Blue? Uh okay, but hopefully that means Gold & Silver and Black & White are still to come. I'm fine with it being ranked, but the formula (unlike GTA's) has come a long way since it hit it big.

As for Blizzard, Starcraft II and Diablo II seem like surefire inclusions.

You're most likely right.

That's not what I'd pick 100%, but it is something I think most could agree with.

That said, Metroid Prime will probably be rated over Super Metroid. And I doubt Fusion or Zero Mission will get mentioned at all.
